My mums favourite household chore was ironing. She would paintstakingly spend hours to give us creasefree sheets: folding them in a specific way, then let them pass thru a mangle for god knows how long, then to roll them up in another very specific way... And of course ironing is something both me and my sister take very seriously! I might not feed my kids, but i will make sure they dont leave the house in cringed shirts!!
